Avocado is a perfect first food for baby. Avocados are a healthy source of unsaturated fats- good fat! This source of good fat is essential for baby’s brain and physical development. Avocados are full of fiber, potassium, and vitamins. They are an easy, quick, no cook meal for baby.
1. Wash, peel, and de-pit avocado.
2. Cut avocado into pieces.
3. Blend avocado with a splash of breastmilk, formula, or water to make purée, or simply mash with a fork. Avocados have a smooth and creamy texture, so there is no need to purée unless it’s baby’s first food.
